3.    DRIVE CHAIN TOOL - (1) Separating the chain joint. Set the tool on the chain as illustrated in Fig. A, and tighten the bolt by turning the handle. The chain will be disconnected at the joint.
(2) Press-fitting the chain joint. Set the tool as illustrated in Fig. B, and screw in the bolt by turning the handle.

4.    ROCKER ARM SHAFT PULLING BOLT AND WEIGHT - Insert the rocker arm shaft pulling bolt into the weight, and install it on the end of the rocker arm shaft as illustrated. Then remove the rocker arm shaft by giving impact to the bolt with the weight.
*During this operation, be sure to set the camshaft at T.D.C. on the compression stroke.
Follow same procedure for Balancer Shaft.

5.    GOVERNOR TESTING ATTACHMENT - First, remove the crankcase cover 1 (L), and then generator cover 2 from the ignition timing checking window. In turn, fit the governor checking attachment on the window. Next start the engine and check the advancement of the governor or ignition timing using a timing light.

3. DRIVE CHAIN TOOL - (1) Separating the chain joint. Set the tool on the chain as illustrated in Fig. A, and tighten the bolt by turning the handle. The chain will be disconnected at the joint. (2) Press-fitting the chain joint. Set the tool as illustrated in Fig. B, and screw in the bolt by turning the handle.
