6.    VALVE SPRING COMPRESSION TOOL - Set the valve spring compressor on a valve in the cylinder head, then tighten the bolt by turning the handle and remove the valve spring retainer lock and spring.
*Make sure the valve spring compressor is correctly set on the center of the valve and the valve spring retainer.

7.    HEXAGONAL SOCKETS - These hexagonal sockets are used to tighten hexagon socket head bolts for which tightening torque is specified. (3/8" drive)

8.    OIL PUMP COVER INSTALLING TOOL - This tool must be used to install the pump cover into its housing. It guides the pump shaft seal lips over the shoulder on the shaft, keeping them from becoming rolled under. Install the seal in the cover. Teflon lip facing in towards the engine. Place the tool over the pump shaft, against the shaft shoulder. Lubricate the seal lips, and install the cover using the tool as a guide.
