STARTER CHAIN AND SPROCKETS. The pitch of the starter chain and sprockets has been changed from 7.774mm (E/N~3264) to 9.525mm (E/N 3265~). If the chain or either sprocket must be replaced, convert to the new chain and corresponding sprockets. Old type will not be stocked. Conversion to the larger pitch requires that both chain and sprockets be changed as a set. See Table below for part numbers of both types.
NOTE:	Starter Chain Guide Assembly (Ref. #7-14, 1st Edition Parts List) must be removed when new type parts are installed.

NOTE:

When installing starter sprocket 2 (Parts List, Ref. #7-2), either old or new type, apply molybdenum disulfide grease to the bushing during assembly.

CAMSHAFT TIMING. The illustration on Page 22, TX750 Service manual is incorrect. The cam sprocket punchmark should be 90° clockwise of the groove. See illustration at right and correct manual accordingly.
