TX750 RIGHT FOOT REST & BRAKE PEDAL INSTALLATION

1. Install right foot rest. Securing bolt holds both rests in position. Torque to 450-650 in-lbs.

CAUTION The right foot rest can obstruct brake pedal return if installed too low. Install so that foot rest is as close as possible to kick lever or in next serration clockwise. Installing foot rest any further clockwise will obstruct brake lever.

2. Install brake pedal. Align punchmarks on pedal and mounting shaft. Torque securing bolt to 175 in-lbs.

3. Install stop switch actuating rod in hole provided on brake pedal. Operate brake pedal. Check for proper stop light operation.

NOTE: With brake pedal and foot rest properly installed, there should be approximately ¾" freeplay before actuation and approximately ¾ - 1" clearance between brake arm and muffler when brake is applied hard. See illustration below.
