last edited March 10, 2007I got my 1973 TX750 in 2005 from a friend of a friend. The bike turned out to be without title and I entered into a stressful time trying to get a new title. The bike needed work anyway, so I bought a basket case 1974 TX on eBay that had a title and I've been working to combine the 2 into one solid street legal custom TX750. I'm a web developer by profession and have undertaken several of these types of projects before (and still) on the web and in the shop. Another one of my projects is a 1960 Airstream Tradewind I started in 1998. For several years I rented a garage space from a college friend. When he sold his house my projects were without a home. On November 30th, 2006 I finalized a purchase for a workshop and now all the projects have a place to live. I now hope to make more progress on these things now that they have their own roof, heating, and dedicated electrical box. Time will tell!
